Dean of the College of Medicine congratulates the educational family on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day Assistant Professor Dr Naseer Kazim Al-Maliki, Dean of the College of Medicine, extended his warmest congratulations to the educational and academic family in Iraq on the occasion of Iraqi Academic Day, which falls on the fourth of April every year, stressing the importance of this occasion in highlighting the great efforts exerted by academics in serving the educational and research process.

In a statement, Dr Al-Maliki stressed that ‘celebrating the Iraqi Academic Day is a pause of appreciation and pride in the march of giving by the Iraqi academic, who has remained a key pillar in building society despite the challenges he has faced over the past decades.’ He added: “We take this occasion to renew our pledge to the Iraqi people.

We seize this occasion to renew our pledge to continue working hard to advance the academic and educational reality, raise the level of scientific research, and contribute to the preparation of a conscious and qualified generation to serve Iraq in various fields.”

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine also expressed his high appreciation for the teaching staff, researchers and professors in all Iraqi universities, praising their continuous efforts in consolidating scientific values and raising the academic level despite the circumstances and challenges.

Dr Al-Maliki concluded his congratulations by praying that God will protect Iraq and its people, and grant the nation’s academics more progress and success in performing their noble mission
