Under the patronage of the Presidency of Wasit University, the Faculty of Medicine hosted a closing festival to boost student confidence.
Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Prof. Abbas Laftah Kaniher Al-Aqabi, and in the presence of the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, Prof. Muhammad Shihab, Wasit University held the closing festival for the confidence-building programme at the Faculty of Medicine – Conference Hall (Dr. Ata Kati Hall), in cooperation with the Wasit Education Directorate.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Kazim Al-Maliki, and the Administrative Assistant to the Faculty of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Salim Rahif Al-Aidi, along with a number of academic and educational figures, school principals, and teaching staff.
The festival included the distinguished participation of a number of schools, with scout teams presenting disciplinary performances and students singing the Iraqi national anthem in a patriotic scene that expressed a spirit of belonging and commitment, amid interaction and praise from the audience.
This festival is the culmination of the efforts of the Confidence Building Programme to support students psychologically and socially and enhance their ability to build confident and effective personalities in society through meaningful educational activities.
At the conclusion of the event, the programme organisers emphasised the importance of strengthening the partnership between Wasit University and the Wasit Directorate of Education in order to contribute to the achievement of educational goals and build a conscious generation capable of serving society and the nation.
